Three alliances have been formed between the races of Tamriel: While suffering an increasing number of invasions by the Daedra, nightmarish creatures from the plane of Oblivion under the command of their prince, Molag Bal, the continent of Tamriel is in the midst of a raging fight for the control of the Imperial City of Cyrodiil and the Ruby Throne. The Elder Scrolls: Online story takes place a thousand years before the events in Skyrim.
Bethesda Software created The Elder Scrolls: Arena in 1994 and established the bases of a series of games that feature a huge open world and an incredible degree of freedom during the gameplay and that whose popularity would reach its peak with the release in 2011 of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, a true masterpiece. The Elder Scrolls Online is the first multiplayer online game of one of the most famous fantasy role-playing sagas of all times.
